Carnival 2011
The Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is one of the biggest and most spectacular events of its kind in the world. Every February, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the largest of the Canary Islands, hosts this historical event, attracting around a million people from everywhere. Is considered the second most popular and internationally known carnival after those held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
In fact the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is twinned with the city of Rio de Janeiro for this reason.
This is a great time to visit Tenerife, we are looking forward to a spectacular parade, colourful costumes, crazy parties and wild festive music. See you there...

Productions 2011
Thanks to several large casting calls and numerous photo shoots during the last
8 weeks, the Mootoo family has grown quite a bit. We have more local models than ever before and this was a great opportunity for the less experienced models to gain valuable experience.
January was an especially busy month in the Canaries; we had great feedback from the European production teams who were happy to be working under the sun. We enjoyed an average temperature of around 20 degrees and spring seemed just around the corner with the almond trees already beginning to blossom.

Busy time for creative professionals
Carnival is one of the busiest times of the year for anyone in the creative arts. Photographers, stylists, costume designers, hair & make-up artists... are all run off their feet. We thought it would be fitting to pay tribute to some of these overworked artists, so in this newsletter we introduce you to 5 top Hair & Make-up professionals living and working in Tenerife.
