SPAR is the world's largest food retailer, with approximately 20,000 stores in 35 countries worldwide. Spar originated in the Netherlands in 1932 and now, through its affiliate organisations, operates through most European countries, South Africa, Asia and Australia. The INTERSPAR hypermarket is prominent throughout central Europe with a total of 274 hypermarkets.

NKD Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 1962 and is based in Bindlach, Germany with a purchasing office in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It has branches and offices in Germany, Austria, and Italy.

With its life-style and event-orientated Galeria concept, the company is an innovation leader among German department stores who successfully combines tradition and innovation.

UK Manufacturers of spun, dyed, and finished classic and fancy yarns for hand and machine knitting, and crochet applications. The Sirdar range is sold through an extensive network of independent retailers, specialist knitting and craft shops and department stores throughout the UK.

The birth of Heinz Hess' ethical clothing brand came about by humble means back in 1976. When German naturalist Hess couldn't find organic clothing for his newborn son, he decided to create his own line. Since then Hessnatur, based out of the German village of Butzbach, has worked with a handful of suppliers to offer completely pure clothing at a reasonable price. Recently, the German company moved intothe American market.

Established in 1928, Sport Boeckmann GmbH is a sports store with tradition: The company is led by the third generation and is now one of the largest shipping companies in the area of sporting goods and sports clothing. Their current product range includes sporting goods form all the top brands, high quality textiles and they manufacture their own equipment. The "Böckmann world of sport", is covered in detail in a 260-page catalogue (circulation: 180,000) and on their website at www.sport-boeckmann.de.

Founded by the Otto Group in 1986, Bonprix offers fashion, home textiles- and furniture. In addition to several main catalogues, Bonprix also issues an assortment of specialogues. In recent years, the Bonprix concept has also been successfully transported to France, Italy and a number of countries in central and eastern Europe & 2006 saw the launch of Bonprix in Russia. In addition to its mail-order -business, Bonprix has been building on its over-the-counter retailing activities. It currently operates 35 stores, two of which are located in Italy.

The K - Mail Order GmbH & Co. KG, known as ‘Klingel’ (the bell) is a mail order company and the third largest shipping company in Germany. The company's headquarters is located in Pforzheim. With more than 2,500 employees, Klingel is one of the largest private employers in the city. In addition, the company has operations in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Czech Republic, Russia and Slovakia.
